Data controller: the natural person, the legal entity, the public administration and any other body, association or body to which, including jointly with other owner, the decisions regarding the purposes, the methods of processing personal data and the tools used , including the security profile. Data Processor: The person, the company, the body, the association or the body to which the owner entrusts, including externally, because of particular experience or skill set, tasks of management and control of data processing.
Data protection officer or DPO: Appointed by the data controller or by the owner, he is responsible for observing, evaluating and organizing the management of the processing of personal data (and subsequently its protection) within a company, in compliance with European and national privacy regulations.
In this specific case, the Data Protection Officer (so-called DPO) appointed by QuestIT is: Findata Srls with registered office in Viale Margherite n.41 Pollena T. (NA) in the person of Dr. Cino Wang Platania via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Customer or Company: Refers to QuestIT clients, one of its Licensee Partners and/or Resellers and who substantially represent the material users of one of the platforms produced and/or marketed by QuestIT.
End-User or entity of reference: These terms refer to those who surf on one of the websites managed by QuestIT, use a QuestIT AP , are contacted or enter data through one of the platforms developed and managed by QuestIT such as « MySnooper » or « Algho ».
Licensee Partners and Resellers: Refers to QuestIT business partners who market digital marketing products to « clients » and who may also be part of The Digital Box SpA group.
MySnooper: It is a platform that monitors and analyzes conversations on the web that speak about you, your company and your competitors. It measures the performance of corporate social profiles. It measures reputation and monitors progress.
DetectoEvo: It is a platform that helps companies in the digitization process of information during the data entry phase towards company information systems.
Chatbot: Chat bot, chatbot or chatterbot, is a software designed to simulate a conversation with a human being. The main purpose of this software is to simulate human behavior and is used for various purposes such as online help, answering users’ FAQs who access a site etc. QuestIT may offer end-users and customers, within its web spaces, the possibility of interacting with a chatbot for the purpose of executing the existing contract or improving the experience. Algho is one of the chatbots developed and marketed by QuestI .
ADA: The digital marketing platform developed by The Digital Box.
Semantic AI; It is a business intelligence platform that manages and displays the data held by the company through a user interface that improves its context and usability. Information can be viewed in the form of reports or dashboards that provide interactive data analysis to help users make faster, more informed decisions.
Websites: Websites operated by QuestIT such as www.QuestIT.com, www.mysnooper.net, http://www.alghoncloud.com;
Personal Data: We consider personal data to be any information that is sent voluntarily and that individually identifies a person, including contact information, such as name, e-mail address, company name, address, telephone number and other information regarding you or your business . Personal Information may also include information about any transaction, whether free or paid, information that is available on the Internet, such as from Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google, or information available publicly. We also consider your credit or debit card numbers, personal financial account information, references to your social security, passport numbers or other identity documents to be personal data of particular importance.
Sensitive Data: We consider sensitive data to include information on racial or ethnic origin, conditions of or information on physical, mental health or health in general, finances and legal standing.
Navigation Information: This refers to information on your computer and visits to this website (and other QuestIT websites) such as IP addresses, geographical position, type of browser, reference source, duration of the visit and pages viewed.
Consent: This refers to your free expression of will by which you expressly accept a specific treatment of your personal/sensitive data, of which you have previously been informed of by the Data Controller.
- Use of digital platform services by QuestIT and our customers
3.1. MySnooper platform services
The services marketed by QuestIT, its Licensee Partners and the related Resellers, allow any company that buys an account on the MySnooper digital platform to monitor and analyze the conversations on the web concerning their brand. MySnooper also allows you to monitor competition and measure the performance of corporate social profiles. Through MySnooper you can check your online reputation, assess corrective measures and check their progress. MySnooper identifies the topics of greatest interest to online users, helping to better target marketing and branding campaigns. All information, collected as part of the MySnooper service by QuestIT and/or its clients, is stored and managed on the servers of our service providers and processed according to purposes.
3.1. Algho platform services
The services marketed by QuestIT , its Licensee Partners and any related Resellers, allow any company that buys an Algho account to create Chatbots for the purposes of:
- Communicating through conversation, information, multimedia content, web pages, images
- Acquiring information on new leads
- Personalizing the chatbot knowledgebase by guiding the answers given to users and the conversational paths taken by them
- Defining appointments, booking services, direction to market places or other websites
Algho simulates conversations and is therefore able to acquire different types of information during its interaction with end-users.This information, which is stored and managed on the servers of our service providers, is then used to contact visitors about the interest shown in company goods or services and interact with the company itself.
ADA platform services
The services marketed by QuestIT, its Licensee Partners and related Resellers, allow any company that buys an account on the ADA platform to create web pages for marketing purposes using our servers. Through these pages, visitors (end users) can learn more about companies, download content and provide data, contact information and other demographic information. This information, which is stored and managed on the servers of our service providers, is then used to contact visitors about the interest shown in company goods or services and interact with the company itself.
3.2. Use of ADA by QuestIT
3.3. Use of digital platforms by our customers
QuestIT offers its digital platform services to allow the collection of information under its clients’ (companies’) responsibility and has no direct relationship with the people (end users) whose personal information is processed. If you are a customer (end user) of one of our client (companies) and you no longer wish to be contacted by a company that uses the platform services provided by QuestIT, please contact the company with which you interact directly. We also inform you that we may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service and that have been nominated data processors and that operate under our control.
4 Collected Information
4.1. When you visit our websites
You are free to browse our websites without providing any personal information about yourself. When you visit websites or register to allow your company to use our digital platforms subscription services (such as ADA or Algho), we may ask you to provide personal information and we will gather information related to browsing on our Web sites.
4.2. When you use our mobile application
We use mobile data analysis software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our apps on your mobile device. This software can record information such as how often the application is used, events occurring within the application, aggregate usage, performance data and where the application was downloaded from. In addition to the information we collect on our websites, when using our mobile apps, we may also collect and store your geographic location, device model and version, device ID, OS version and credentials used to access our digital platforms.
We send push notifications from time to time in order to update you on events or promotions. If you no longer wish to receive such communications, you can disable them on your device.
We may link the information we store in the analysis software to personal information sent to the mobile app. We do this to improve the services offered to you and improve our marketing, analysis and site features.
4.3. When requesting information
When you ask for more information through the contact form, emails or a specific landing page, about our platforms, our company or request the subscription to the news-letter, we may ask you for data such as name, surname, position occupied, telephone, email, etc … which will be used exclusively for pre-contractual purposes and in any case will be specified each time. If you make a request for an online demonstration of one of our platforms, we may ask you to give consent to its recording (video and audio) for the sole purpose of assessing the quality of the service provided.
4.4. Information on minors
The sites managed by QuestIT and the services offered through digital platforms are not intended for minors under the age of 16 nor do we knowingly or intentionally collect information about minors under the age of 16. If you believe that, for reasons unknown to us, information on minors under 16 years of age has been gathered improperly and without parental consent, please contact us at privacy@QuestIT.

5.2. We never sell personal information
Under no circumstances shall QuestIT sell/transfer your personal information to third parties nor shall it be disclosed.
5.3. Use of personal information regarding End users and Clients
(a) Improve browsing experience by personalizing websites and improve our digital platforms;
(b) Collect and process statistical information on users of our platforms and websites. This information will never be used to identify individual users/users without specific consent.
(c) If you have given your specific consent, you can be contacted by other companies for marketing purposes.
(d) If you have given your specific consent, you can be profiled for marketing purposes to allow companies to make specific offers.
In addition, we allow companies that use our digital platforms for their intended and contractual purposes, to collect sensitive data under their responsibility and with the specific consent of the end user, as long as it is processed and stored in compliance with the principles of confidentiality and lawfulness of the treatment.
With regards to data collected through the subscription to our digital platform services (therefore of companies), this is processed for the purposes of:
(a) Providing the subscription service (which may include the identification, prevention and resolution of technical and security problems);
(b) Responding to requests for technical assistance;
(c) Fulfilling the obligations set out in the Terms of Service;
5.4. Service providers
We employ other companies and individuals to provide services to visitors of our websites, our digital platforms and subscription services. Examples may include, data analysis, marketing assistance, the issue of tax documents, the processing of information provided by end-users for the improvement of the service, customer assistance etc. In all cases where we share your information with these companies and people, we explicitly request them to recognize and adhere to our privacy and data management policy for clients (companies) as well as end users (data subjects).
5.5. Security of personal information
We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. We protect personal information stored on servers and computers in a controlled and secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When sensitive personal information (such as geolocation data) is collected on our websites and/or transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

5.8. Retention of personal information
We retain the personal information of our clients (companies) as long as we believe it is potentially useful in allowing the necessary contacts relating to the subscription services that have been purchased on our digital platforms or, if necessary, in complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing our agreements. At the end of the treatment period and at the conclusion of the contract, we will safely delete all the data concerned in accordance with contractual conditions between QuestIT and the companies.
If, on the other hand, as end-users/ interested parties, you provide our clients (companies) information in order to stay in touch with them or use the services they offer, our clients will decide how long to keep the personal information they collect from you. In any case QuestIT and the processors appointed by you, internally and for the marketed platforms, apply rules that prevent the storage of data indefinitely and therefore limit the retention time in compliance with the principle of minimization of data processing by carrying out a periodic check on an annual basis on the data processed and on the possibility of being able to delete it if no longer necessary for the intended purposes.
If one of our clients (company) stops using the Subscription Service on one of our platforms, we will provide the client with access to all stored information, including personal information provided by end-users, in an exportable format. In the event of early contractual termination, we may, unless there are legal limits, eliminate all information on end-users.
5.9. Forced disclosure
We reserve the right to use or disclose personal information if required by law or if QuestIT believes that use or disclosure is necessary in order to protect our rights, protect the safety of end-users or the safety of others, allow investigations on fraud or obey a law.

6.2. Browsing information collected by our clients (companies)
Our clients (companies) who use our digital platforms may use tools provided by third parties to gather browsing information when visiting their web pages managed through our digital platforms. QuestIT does not control the use of these tools by our clients (companies), nor does it control the information they collect or how their use of it.

7.1. Review, correction and removal of personal information
Upon request, QuestIT will provide you with information regarding the possession of any of your personal information. If you provide us with your personal information, you have the following rights with respect to that information:
- Knowing what information you have given us;
- Modifying/updating/ correcting the information you have provided to us;
- Requesting that the information you have provided us not be used to contact you;
- Requesting that the information you have provided us be removed from any database we use;
- Requesting that your user data be permanently deleted from our archives;
- Refusing to be solicited by QuestIT or by third parties;

If, however, you are an end-user, you have the same rights as stated above and you can exercise them by directly contacting the companies to which you have given consent to the processing of your data.
In addition, it is important that you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the data protection law or that your right to data protection has been harmed in any other way, you can contact the competent authority. In Italy this is the Privacy Guarantor (European privacy guarantor).
7.2. Spam policy
Any commercial communication sent without the recipient’s consent is considered spam. The use of the services offered by QuestIT is intended for the sole and exclusive purpose of sending messages to recipients who have accepted and confirmed that they wish to receive communications. No other commercial use is accepted or permitted. As an example of a message considered allowed of the non-commercial uses of our digital platform services, is the sending of transactional messages to individual recipients with whom a relationship has been established. We ask all our customers to agree to adhere to the no-spam policy, and any violations of the rules on the use of QuestIT digital platforms may lead to the suspension or termination of subscription services.
7.3. Unsubscribe from our communications
If you are subscribed to one of our newsletters, you can unsubscribe from our marketing communications by clicking on the « cancel » link located at the bottom of our e-mails or by sending us an email to the privacy address@QuestIT.com or by writing to QuestIT SRL – Via Firenze, 33 Bettolle – 53048 Sinalunga (Siena) – ITALY, Re: Privacy.
7.4. Unsubscribe from our customer communications
Clients (companies) using our digital platform services are solely responsible for their e-mails and other marketing communications; we cannot unsubscribe you from their communications. You can unsubscribe from our customers’ marketing communications by clicking on the « unsubscribe » link located at the bottom of their emails or by contacting them directly.
